Beaded Earrings made by female artisans from the Inga indigenous community in Putumayo, Colombia.
These earrings are named after their resemblance to feathers, or "plumas" in Spanish. For the Inga, the diamond or rhombus shape at the top of the earring also represents the womb, where all life begins.
